Unpopular Rugby Opinion: The Rugby video games we currently have out there are rubbish... I'm just going to say it, similarly to what I said about Rugby movies - there are no truly standout rugby video games. As a passionate Rugby fan who enjoys video games from time to time, this is my heartfelt plea to game developers. I appreciate the efforts so far and we have seen some decent rugby game like Rugby 08, my unpopular rugby opinion is that it’s still pretty rubbish. But gameplay just seems to be getting worst with time and leaving me wanting so much more. Some may say rugby is too complex of a sport for a complete video game. I see untapped potential. In the right hands, a rugby video game can be as prominent as FIFA or FA as it is now to the gaming world.
